Last week, I was approached by a friend who shares a love of sports and kids.
His name is Dana Thiede. He’s a hockey referee, a hockey dad, and he devotes a lot of his time to work with Minnesota Hockey’s Special Hockey Programs.
He’s a great human, and I always love running into him at the gym.
Before the pandemic, Dana approached me about doing some work with him on his SportsLife blog at KARE 11. We met last week over Zoom, and I wanted to share this article he wrote and the discussion we had.
We talked about a common challenge in all sports: navigating the locker room. It’s definitely worth the watch. Spoiler alert — mental fitness is a part of having a great locker room.
