If your score is between 0-10, you need to develop a step by step plan that is focused on spending effort in more efficient and smart ways. Athletes who struggle in this area do not put in effort unless there is a guarantee that what they are doing will pay off in a big way.
In competition they may have large and deep swings in mood and motivation. They may move from being overly energized and out of control to going through the motions. They sit back and just wait for the game or season to be over.
In order to improve in this area, you need to examine your expectations and your own view of your mindset about development and look for alternative ways to view your lack of execution. You may need to examine what experiences may influence you to hold onto self defeating mindset.
